WoMEDA Dialogue Brings Together Leaders Shaping the Future of Melbourne’s West - Memberships now available
The inaugural WoMEDA Dialogue marked an important moment for Melbourne’s West, bringing together leaders across government, business, infrastructure, education and community sectors for an afternoon of meaningful discussion and connection.
Held as a platform to foster conversations about the future of the region, the Dialogue explored the opportunities, challenges and long-term vision shaping one of Australia’s fastest-growing economic corridors.
The event was officially launched by The Hon. Ben Carroll MP, Deputy Premier of Victoria, with opening remarks from WoMEDA Chair, Prof Peter Dawkins AO, Victoria University, and newly appointed Executive Director, Giulia Baggio.
Moderated by Kelvyn Lavelle, the panel featured Ari Suss, Melbourne Avalon Airport; Leigh Petschel, Port of Melbourne; Julia Truong, JTPM Group; and Penny Dabner, Frasers Property Australia, who shared perspectives on leadership, investment, infrastructure and collaboration across the West.
A strong theme throughout the Dialogue was that Melbourne’s West is no longer simply a region of future potential, but a region of growing influence, innovation and opportunity.
As WoMEDA continues to build momentum across the region, memberships are now officially open for businesses, organisations and individuals looking to be part of shaping the future of Melbourne’s West.
WoMEDA extends its sincere thanks to all speakers, attendees, partners and supporters who contributed to the success of the inaugural Dialogue.
